Rummy Points Calculation

In rummy games, players get points based on the cards left in their hand at the end. The main goal is to make valid groups of sequences and sets to get zero points.

Here is how the rummy scores are calculated:

• Each face card, like King, Queen, Jack and Ace, is worth 10 points.
• The number cards like 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 are worth the same number of points as shown on the card.

For example, a 5 card is worth 5 points, and a 9 card is worth 9 points.

The Joker cards are special cards that are worth zero points.

After making all the valid groups of sequences and sets, if a player is able to declare first, they get a score of zero points. But if some cards are left over and not part of any group, then the points of those leftover cards get added up as the player's score.

The game is won by the player who has the lowest score.
